(only 5 minutes away) offers a variety of activities for
all ages. In the summer, take the ski lift to the top
of the mountain and enjoy the views. Hike the trails.
Visit the Interactive
Nature Center. Swim and boat at Belleayre
Lake. Enjoy a concert at the Belleayre
Music Festival. In the winter, downhill or cross country
ski, snowboard the highest skiable peak and longest
skiable trail in the Catskills. |

Kayak or canoe the headwaters of
the Delaware River, located just a few miles from the
inn. Boat rentals available at Old Town Canoes and Kayaks
(15 minutes away: 607-326-4266). Pedal boats, row boats
& canoes are also available at Belleayre
Lake, just 5 minutes away. |

There are over over 20 restaurants
within a 20 minute drive of the inn to meet every taste
and budget. From basic burgers to unique creations, our
local chefs are sure to please. Some of our favorites
are the The
Peekamoose (10 minutes away), the Binnekill
(10 minutes away - closes at 8pm), and the Andes
Hotel Restaurant (20 minutes away). A few of our area
restaurants are dog friendly on their beautiful porches
and patios. |

Summer brings the Belleayre Music
Festival (5 minutes away) to our neighborhood. Special
events abound on summer weekends. |

Most operate on weekends from Memorial
Day to Columbus Day and offer local produce, maple syrup,
home baked goods, handmade crafts and more. Pakatakan
Farmers Market in the Round Red Barn (10 minutes away),
and the Magic Mile Flea Market (5 minutes away). (D)

For a scenic drive, travel north
on Route 30 into Schoharie County and visit the many pick-your-own
farms and stands along the way. |

Our bountiful streams team with trout.
The nearby Esopus, East Branch Delaware, and Bushkill
(in our own backyard) have many public access points for
fly fishing. A licence can be purchased for $15 from a
local bait shop. Bring your own equiptment. |

The area is home to many unique artists
and galleries. The village of Andes which features many
great shops and galleries, including one of our favorites,
the Chace-Randall
Gallery. |

Nearby courses include Meadows Golf
Center (5 minutes away: 845-586-4104), Hanah
Country Club (10 minutes away), and Shepard
Hills (20 minutes away). |

We are located at the edge of the
Catskill Forest Preserve. Fantastic hiking for all skill
levels is just minutes away. We have several books and

bike trails, Plattekill offers steep chutes and big drops
for the expert, as well as learn to bike packages for
the beginner. |
